Helping our community be the best it can be is a challenge that is always in front of me and town council members.

We hear the suggestions and take them seriously!

We hear the complaints and try to address them with a fair and commonsense approach to resolve the various situations.

Working together is the key in any endeavor, whether it be with family, friends, co-workers, and the same is true in a town like Mars. Our community is getting things done!

Take a look at the new roof going on the library this month! It is the new library director, the new library board, library members, residents, and the supporting Mars area municipal leaders all pitching into do what’s best for the common good.

Lincoln Avenue will be finally completed soon too!

Here is a story that came out in July that shows the quality and character of most of our residents as seen in two boys starting a business in town and how the next generation follows in our footsteps to meet the challenges they face each day.

There are a number of opportunities that are being worked on and will be shared through this blog; council meetings (first Monday of each month), revitalization meetings, and other public gatherings to share information and gather input from residents.  We can all pitch-in to help in some small but significant ways for Mars to be the best it can be for a new day.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me and council through the contact page on the borough website.

Enjoy the rest of your summer!
