On June 3, 2019 Mars Borough Council voted to provide water to the proposed housing development at the end of Pine Avenue in Adams Township, provided certain terms and conditions, to be determined at a later date, are met. This decision came after months of investigation and consideration, as well as water flow tests and engineering studies.
On June 5, 2019 a letter of intent was provided to Russ Howells, the owner of the property, stating Mars Borough could provide water if terms and conditions are met. You can view this letter by clicking here.
As of July 25, 2019 there has been no meeting with the property owner or developer to set the terms and conditions that must meet. Until this meeting occurs, the terms and conditions cannot be established.
