Some residents of Mars Borough may have noticed that Leaf Pickup has finally begun. Due to warmer temps the leaves simply didn’t start falling until recently. It seems Mother Nature was working in the favor of Public Works, as they were busy with paving Lincoln and Grand Avenue. Now, that paving is finished they can focus on Leaf Pickup.
Please remember to put your leaves within six (6) feet from the curb/road so the Public Works crew can get to them with their machinery.
PLEASE DO NOT PUT THE LEAVES IN THE ROAD.
For now, there is no specific end date for Leaf Pickup. It may depend on when the snow begins to fall.
