Emergency Management Notice

Butler County has notified all Emergency Management personnel including Mars Borough that there is a potential of heavy rain associated with the remains of Storm Gordon.

The rain will be heaviest late Saturday night through Sunday night. A potential of 3 to 5 inches is possible (depending on the impact area).

Please be aware of this potential for flooding as we work with our police and road crew to help people to be safe.

Also, if a road is blocked off due to flooding, please DO NOT drive through the water. These barriers are in place for your protection.
