We are fortunate in being able to review, do what we are able to do within a day, and plan for the future!
The Christmas holiday has us do these three steps each year. Recall those special memories, give and receive during the year-end holiday in many ways to say our “thank you” to those around us, and then begin the cycle again next year.
In our process at the Borough we review or do the needed research on various projects when decisions are made on what is best for the Borough.
We then implement a plan that comes together as a result of our research.
We constantly work at putting together pieces from some overall planning that we do from opportunities that present themselves for our community. We also work at maintaining and doing needed upgrades that can help make our community more livable.
So, working on upgrades, maintenance, safety, and long-range plans for residents and businesses are in constant consideration of what can be done by Council, the Mayor, businesses, residents, and property owners.
Our working together makes the difference! The changes you have seen have been a direct result of our working together as a community. Listening to one another is most important.
So as another year ends and we celebrate our accomplishments and reflect on what still needs to be done, I ask that you remember to say “thank you” to those who need to be appreciated as we come to the end of 2018!
I thank our leadership in working together, office staff, water crew, police, code enforcement, public works, and you the residents/business owners for the support and accomplishments in Mars Borough.
